EUSTORY Next Generation Summit 2017
More than one hundred young people braved the elements yesterday. A heavy storm was ranging over northern Germany when they made their way to Berlin to attend the EUSTORY Next Generation Summit 2017. Train and bus services were disrupted, flights delayed, yet nearly all made it and enjoyed the opening event.
It was an eventful evening: After a welcome address of Dr Thomas Paulsen of the Körber Foundation, the legacy of painful history in Europe was the focus of the keynote speech by Marianne Birthler and a panel talk with two Summit participants. A theatre perfomance about the current state of the "European family" set the stage for the different Summit workshops in the next few days. Stay tuned.
