The international cooperation project “History Competitions” was carried out over a period of eight years (2017-2024). It was started by DVV International and Körber-Stiftung with the funding of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany within the framework “Civil Society Cooperation”.

It supported the continuation of history competitions for pupils and young adults in Ukraine and Belarus (until 2021), the implementation in Georgia and  Moldova  – and from 2021-2024 also in Armenia. It also fostered international exchange between organisers, teachers and young adults, e.g. through workshops, network meetings and youth encounters.
