Competition Project in Belarus Dissolved

After years of successful work, the Belarusian History Competition came to an end in December 2021 due to a decision by the Belarusian authorities.
Belarus was one of the founding members of EUSTORY in the year 2001. The national competition in the country has been organised by different cooperation partners throughout the past years who managed to run 10 individual competition rounds. A strategic strengthening of the competition project in Belarus was achieved after 2017 when it was organised in the framework of a cooperation project of Körber-Stiftung and DVV International that was funded by the German Foreign Office. After DVV International had to shut down their country office in Belarus, the competition project came to a (premature) end.
