Online Award Ceremony of Ukraine’s History Competition

Against all odds, 27 winner teams attended the award ceremony of Ukraine’s History Competition. The festivities displayed a special bond forged in the face of the war.

A Suitcase Full of Memories

Teacher workshops in Kiev used immersive theatre methods as a new approach in order to "transfer" the participants into the different times of the Soviet era. An old suitcase and several letters played an important part and triggered the debate.

Successful Finish of History Competition 2019/2020 in Ukraine

Starting in September 2019, a total of 1,727 young people aged between 14 and 18 years got engaged in the competition dealing with the topic „Soviet Past – Rethinking the History“. Teamed up into research groups, pupils conducted 290 local studies of the Ukrainian Soviet past.
