German History Competition Received Around 2,000 Entries

28 February 2019 was the closing date for the German History Competition entitled "Enough Is Enough - Crisis, Change, a New Beginning". 1,997 entries by more than 5,500 young people were sent in. This makes the it one of the most successful German competition since 1993.

German Federal President Calls for Participation in History Competition

"Enough Is Enough - Crisis, Change, a New Beginning" is the topic of the 26th call for entries for the Federal President's History Competition. From 1 September 2018 to 28 February 2019, all children and young people in Germany under the age of 21 will be invited to search for historical traces.

German Award Ceremony 2017

On 22 November, German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier honoured this year’s first prize winners of the German history competition in the Bellevue Palace Berlin. The topic of the competition was “God and the world. Religion makes history” which encouraged over 5,000 young people to participate and to send in a total of 1,639 contributions.
