Israeli President Isaac Herzog Meets Prize Winners
On 27 December 2021, the President of the State of IsraelIsaac Herzog met with the prize winners of the Israeli History Competition 2021. The students who received their prizes during a large ceremony organised by The Historical Society of Israel submitted historical research projects on a topic of their choosing.
The award ceremony of the 6th Israeli History Competition took place on 11 November 2019 at the Van-Leer Institute in Jerusalem. The event offered opportunities for mutual exchange between prizewinners and leading historians such as Miriam Eliav-Feldon (Tel-Aviv University) and Shmuel Feiner (Bar-Ilan University).
The award ceremony for the Israeli 2017 competition took place on 28 November 2017 at the Tel Aviv University. The festive event was composed of two parts. The first part included a panel of four senior scholars who delivered lectures on the optic of "connected histories". The second part of the event was the award ceremony itself.
