Opening of Photo Exhibition Following Slovak Award Ceremony

When the organisers of the Slovak history competition announced last year's topic "History in Photographs", they could hardly imagine the extremely positive response from the public and the media. The winning entries were exhibited in a public space in Bratislava. Public interest was so strong that the exibition period was extended.

Slovak Award Ceremony 2015

On 19 June the award ceremony of the Slovak History Competition took place in the Polish Institute in Bratislava. 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the EUSTORY Competition in Slovakia. The topic “Slovak Development cooperation in the 20th and 21st century – from INTEHELPO to SLOVAKAID” was inspired by the European Year for Development, as announced by the European Commission, and the 90th anniversary of Slovak Development Aid.

Slovak Award Ceremony 2014

The award ceremony of Slovakia’s EUSTORY competition took place in the Polish Institute in Bratislava on 24 June 2014. The awards were presented to the winners by Dr. h.c. Anton Srholec, the patron of this year’s round. All participants got diplomas and books from the sponsor, the Nation's Memory Institute.

Slovak Award Ceremony 2013

On 7 June, 2013 the award ceremony of Slovakia’s history competition took place in the UNESCO Information and Documentation Center in Bratislava. A total of 49 contributions written by 84 participants were submitted. The Slovak competition is organised by the Centre for Communication and Development(SCCD), a non-profit organisation which was founded in 2005.
